Lakkana Meepara from Thailand is the 2016-17 International Peace Poster Contest winner! The theme was “A Celebration of Peace.” Thirteen year-old Lakkana, who is in her school’s art club and passionate about volunteering for environmental issues, says she “wants everyone to build peace together, because peace is something that makes everyone happy.” Lakkana will receive a cash award of US$5,000, and will be honored at Lions’ upcoming international convention in Chicago.
